Triangles, please!

Do you know someone who answers “Do you play an instrument?” with:

“Yes, the triangle.”

Thirteen years ago that joke annoyed me enough that I planned to build a website about the triangle — an instrument that cuts through every mix and is a lot less trivial than its reputation.

Today it goes live.

The Mighty Triangle

It’s a small, focused site with everything I wanted back then:

The mighty triangle

Why this exists

Because the triangle is often treated as a punchline, while in reality it demands precision: timing, touch, and control of the ring. One clean hit can define a moment — and one sloppy one can ruin it. If you’ve ever underestimated it: welcome. That’s the point.
