👋 Moritz Glantz is my name…
…and I am an Specialist for Web Accessibility and UX-Engineer from Karlsruhe Germany with over 20 years of experience. I help organizations build accessible websites by offering accessibility talks, workshops & trainings, accessibility reviews and developing strategies for developers and management.
About me
Creating websites and web applications since 2001, I am enthusiastic about the web (and its standards), writing clean, semantic and handcrafted code, always on the lookout for the latest techniques and resources of the ever emerging web development industry. My work evolves from idealism, holism, sustainability and the thirst for knowledge quenched by reading blogs, listening to podcasts, visiting conferences and having my own front end development podcast / livestream.
Accessibility plays an integral role in my work: the web must be usable by everyone. Access to information and participation are a basic human rights. It’s good craft, improves usability, builds trust, supports sustainability and public perception, and, ultimately, it’s simply the right thing to do. ✊
In my free time I like tinkering on small, sometimes weird web projects like my Accessibility Cheatsheet, Morse Code Generator, tracking-free QR-Code generator and a Relax Sound Board as well as hardware like Arduinos and sensors.
